Things are shifting FAST! ‘Prepare your chariots!’
GO LOOK AGAIN! BE STUBBORN IN PRAYER, HOPEFUL IN AFFLICATION AND LOOK FOR THE COMING RAIN!
“There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!”
(1 Kings 18:44)
The other day I noticed the giant tree near my balcony suddenly sprouted with glorious teeny little white flowers from the roots! It signals that spring has arrived and it was such a sight to behold. I knew the blooming process had started for many of you!
BUT WAIT!!!
Literally the next morning, I glanced outside while making coffee and those small white flowers had somehow BURST IN FULL BLOOM OVERNIGHT!!! It was such a profound sight and it left me speechless!!! What a wonderful God we serve who constantly speaks to us through His creation! An overnight transformation literally happened as we slept!!!
As I gazed at the brilliant white clusters of flowers -- the Lord once again impressed upon my spirit how overnight transformations and success stories are heralding forward right now for many of God’s people “at such a time as this.”
These are the wounded warriors, the ones who have walked with Jesus through the lonely places these last two years.
It seemed that the time of birth would never come -- but it'll burst forth overnight!!! Hold tight and keep pressing because “though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3-4).
You’re right on the very cusp of breakthrough!
I say this with a sense of excitement and assurance: something significant is happening very swiftly for some of you!
You might not even believe this because you’re so weary and burdened from the past seasons, but it’s really true! The earth has shifted!
THIS IS THE BRIDGE! THE MOMENT AND POINT YOU LEAVE THE FORMER THING AND SEASONS OF OLD AND LAUNCH TO THE OTHER SIDE! THIS IS LITERALLY THE LAUNCHPAD THAT WILL CATAPULT YOU TO A NEW ERA WITH THE LORD!
As I pondered the holy majesty of Christ, I instantly heard in my spirit: “Prepare your chariots!”
PREPARE YOUR CHARIOTS -- LIKE NOW
Elijah was a times and seasons prophet. There was a drought and famine in the land for three years. God used Elijah mightily during this time, and the prophet had miraculous victories. However, this is just part of the story. The other times Christ tucked him away for long periods of time in seclusion and isolation.
This taught Elijah how to perceive and understand the Holy Spirit with incredible clarity.
One day Elijah feels things shift in the spirit. The Lord used nature to help Elijah perceive and understand to alert the people. First, the Holy Spirit gave his prophet the sense of just knowing that something changed.
“In the third year, the word of the LORD came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.” (1 Kings 18:1)
You want to know what my “Ahab” is? These blog posts! Every time the Lord gives me these words, I get nervous to write because I’m just a regular person and not a Bible scholar. I’ll often sit on them and try to ignore the words Jesus presses upon my heart, but He reminds me of the people who need to hear and perceive the shift in the atmosphere. If you’re enduring something similar, please yield to the Father even when it’s scary. That’s what Elijah had to do with Ahab!
In the New Testament, we learn that the famine lasted three years and six months, but “the third year” has great significance all throughout the Bible. Jesus’ ministry lasted three years, Paul writes in Galatians that three years after his conversion he went to Jerusalem. The number 3 and its compounds are used all throughout the Bible. Three days, three years and three times all carry significant prophetic weight in the Kingdom — so pay close attention in your own life with the appearance of 333 or 3’s. The number 3 also represents the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Please, please perceive what the Holy Spirit is showing us here with this Elijah’s story and the importance of the THIRD YEAR in our current age.
On December 12, 2019, a cluster of patiences in Wuhan, China began to experience shortness of breath and fever. On January 20, 2020, the first patient in the United States was confirmed to be positive of COVID-19. On March 11, 2020, the NBA halted a game because of a positive test and this was the moment the most powerful country in the world took heed of the shift.
The United States paused and the famine in the land started.
We are in the month of April 2022 and just passed over Year 2! In other words, just LIKE ELIJAH WE ARE “IN THE THIRD YEAR OF THE FAMINE!!!”
During this period of ‘famine’, the pandemic sparked, people lost their lives, social justice came to the forefront, food became scarce, gas prices skyrocketed, war broke out in Ukraine and the world shifted forever.
“BUT IN THE THIRD YEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME TO ELIJAH.” THE SERVANT SPOTTED SOMETHING THAT SEEMED SO INSIGNICANT TO HIM. BUT THE PROPHET JUST KNEW CHANGE WAS ON THE HORIZON — SO HE ALERTED THE LAND AND TOLD THE KING RAIN WAS COMING!!! PREPARE, PREPARE!! SHIFT IS COMING!!!
ELIJAH SHARED THIS WORD WITH BOLDNESS AND AUTHORITY BECAUSE HE KNEW WHAT THE LORD TOLD HIM WOULD HAPPEN.
PLEASE, PLEASE PERCEIVE THIS: GAS PRICES RIGHT NOW HAVE SOARED TO AN ALL-TIME HIGH. RENT AND HOUSES HAVE SKYROCKETED. MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE GLOBE LOST LOVED ONES. PEOPLE ARE IN DESPAIR, DROWNING IN GRIEF WITH DRIED UP RESOURCES.
THE FOUR WALLS OF THE CHURCH ARE CRYING OUT FOR THE PEOPLE TO RETURN BECAUSE SO MANY LEFT THE FAITH DURING THE FAMINE. NEW AGEISM AND WITCHCRAFT WENT RAMPANT DURING THIS TIME BECAUSE PEOPLE SEARCHED FOR HOPE AND THE ENEMY PULLED MANY IN THROUGH CRAFTINESS AND WICKEDNESS. DRUG USE AND OVERDOSES CONTINUE TO SOAR BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SO DESPERATE FOR ANY KIND OF HOPE AND COMFORT. SUICIDE RATES CONTINUE TO CLIMB BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE ARE DROWNING IN A SEA OF PAIN AND SORROW.
AND MANY PEOPLE ARE TAKING THEIR LIVES WHO ARE RIGHT ON THE VERGE OF BREAKTHROUGH. WE HAVE A WORLD THAT IS GRIEVING AND IN A SPIRITUAL PLACE OF FAMINE.
HOWEVER, THE LORD SPENT THE LAST TWO YEARS RAISING UP A NEW GENERATION OF PEOPLE WHO HE SET ABLAZE TO BE FORERUNNERS AND PROCLAIM HOPE AND SET TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE.
THEY ARE SHOUTING RIGHT NOW TO NOT LOOK WITH YOUR PHYSICAL EYES, BUT PERCEIVE IN THE SPIRIT WITH CERTAINTY: GOD IS SENDING RAIN. AN OUTPOURING IS ABOUT TO LAUNCH OVER THE ENTIRE LAND AND JESUS IS RECLAIMING AND RESTORING EVERYTHING THAT WAS LOST. THIS IS A PERIOD WHERE MORE PEOPLE THAN EVER WILL RUN BACK TO THE FATHER AND A REVIVAL WILL SPARK ACROSS THE GLOBE!!!
Elijah was SO CERTAIN of this that he asked his servant to look over the mountaintop to see if the Lord answered his cries for the people. The Lord told the prophet that rain WAS COMING AND HE WAS CERTAIN GOD WOULD ANSWER. The people in the land laughed at him and Elijah prayed boldly: “Answer me, LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, LORD, are God, and that you are TURNING THEIR HEARTS BACK AGAIN.” (1 Kings 18:37, emphasis mine).
Elijah sent everyone away except for his servant and prayed. Then he told the servant to look towards the sea for rain.
The servant went to look and essentially said: “sorry fam, I don’t see anything.”
Elijah prayed and said look again. Still no cloud. Elijah was certain, he knew that he knew that he knew that Christ was shifting the atmosphere to change the landscape of the land.
Six times the servant went to look (the number of man and flesh of the world).
Then he saw it. The seventh time the servant reported “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” (1 Kings 18:44)
Or how about this: the servant saw a white flower as small as a hand had burst from the trees in full bloom overnight.
So here’s the same message for the pioneers: “PREPARE YOUR CHARIOTS!!!” RAIN IS COMING!!!
The other day, the Lord downloaded these words to me and I became extremely overwhelmed because I felt the Lord’s heart for people. He was equally showing us how much He desires for His servants to step forward BOLDLY AND WITH AUTHORITY and stand in the gap for these beautiful people. Jesus reminds us of His compassion in Matthew. If we are to live like Him, then we are to reach and love others in the same way Jesus did.
The Harvest Is Plentiful, the Laborers Few
“And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38
BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR YOUR ‘153 MIRACLE’
• The “harvest” is about souls and people. Have you seen 153 or 53 lately? When Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared numerous times to various people and His disciples. In John 21, the third time (once again, the number 3) includes the most significant mention of the miracle of 153 fish. After seeing all of Jesus’ miracles and journeying with the Savior over the years, Peter and the others went back to the commercial and corporate world of fishing. That’s because when trouble and uncertainty came, they raced back to what was familiar and felt comfortable.
After an unsuccessful night of fishing, Jesus appeared to His disciples on the shore of the Sea of Tiberius and they didn’t recognize Christ at first. He instructed them to cast their nets on right side of the boat. So they did and caught so many fish it changed them forever! They counted 153 in their net, which represents a harvesting of souls and large number.
For career fisherman who didn’t catch anything all night long, the number and all the various fish caught would have been profound. They would have remembered the early days when Jesus first called them while fishing at the same lake.
It would be extraordinary! The number 153 would symbolize a massive and monumental miracle that would defy what the person could accomplish on their own. Just like the cloud “the size of a hand that appeared to Elijah”, the fish and cloud is a manifestation of God’s glory. It’s a reminder that the Lord’s hand is on our lives and we can never discount how He chooses to show up in our lives. And guess what happened after the 153 fish miracle? It was so profound that the fishermen knew their purpose was to share the Gospel. They knew with clarity that Jesus Christ was still alive and that miracle propelled them to then go out and preach the Gospel to every person and nation. Everything they believed about Jesus was really true!!!
Sometimes the miracle is so extraordinary that the Lord uses what happens to you to draw others to HIM! The same thing happened for the woman that bled for 12 years. The Lord made a PUBLIC spectacle of her healing as a sign for people to show His power. These were significant moments in personal lives that forever shifted the globe! God used their miracles to bring hope and healing to the world!
PROPHETIC INSTRUCTIONS
The first wave of the “rain” across the land is going to happen for the new leaders in the faith. The Lord has explained to me over and over that it’s not going to look the same as revivals of the past. These “faith leaders” are not people in the four walls of the church. These are the Lone Ranger pioneers -- the ones who walked with Jesus in obscurity over the last couple years and endured incredibly unique and tough circumstances. He personally taught them and raised them up as sons and daughters and they remained under His covering and authority. They understand heartache and they will be the ones chosen to set the captives free. They will be planted in many new spheres of influence to fellowship and work with people through one-on-one discipleship like Jesus did. They are in corporations, remote villages and isolated mountains, the hospitality industry, nonprofits, the marketplace, sports, entertainment and Hollywood and dispersed all over the world in every pocket. These pioneers live in countries like North Korea, China and Papua New Guinea and are still spreading the love of Jesus even though it could cost them their lives. Some will disciple in small ways, others will be like my friend Dawn who is preparing to win back hearts at festivals where divination and witchcraft is running rampant. Others will be like my friend LaTrina who runs four group homes and has a family, but the Lord is thrusting her forward to bring Christ’s love to people on digital platforms. Many of the others have small ministries on YouTube and teach prophetically and have already seen a massive shift. These are the ones who Christ is about to reveal in a powerful way! It has to happen in such a miraculous way for the people in their environments to really catch notice of what’s happening. These are such bold warriors and they’ve been stripped of all pride and their hearts burn for Jesus.
These people will be the forerunners and pioneers that are thrust into the new. They will set the stage for the future. When people see how they become overnight successes, it will wake up everyone in their sphere of influence; they will realize the Lord was speaking to them the entire time. All of this is for God’s glory alone. Their personal testimonies will help others know about our Heavenly Father. They will teach people the times and seasons of Christ and they really have a burning desire to help others. They’re passionate about teaching the Word of God, how to perceive the Holy Spirit and how to understand the still small voice of Christ in our lives. This will spark a new movement and it will be extremely powerful, but the rest of the land will have to go through their own processes of growth. I am speaking to a very, very specific group of people in the body of Christ who are about to launch into the new. Trust me when I say that the Lord is doing this in every single nation and it will have a profound impact.
The forerunners will go first and will be thrust into the new and planted in new lands and new spheres of influence. From there, the next wave of remnant will follow and this will have a trickled out effect to reach every corner of the earth. The process of revival will reach its peak in the years 5-6. The Lord has been showing me the process of a palm tree in the last two weeks. The period of bursting forth from the seed is the most important process in the life of a palm tree. Once it starts to grow, it really reaches maturity in years 5-6. Many of my fellow sisters and brothers who have been walking this solo journey with Jesus have been pushed forward in leadership in recent weeks and they followed a similar 5-year path. I think the Lord is outlining for us the way this new revival will look for the next generation. This will look like the early church where many people will host small church services in their homes and they’ll open their own doors to raise up the next wave of leaders in the faith.
A CLOUD ‘SMALL AS A HAND’ HAS A PURPOSE: WHY DID THE LORD REVEAL IT TO ElIJAH THIS WAY INSTEAD OF A LOUD GIANT BOOM?
When it was time for rain to arrive, the Most High could have made this thunderous spectacle to announce what was coming. But instead, He just showed His prophet Elijah and his servant a tiny cloud the size of a hand. There was a reason:
• The Lord could trust that Elijah was paying attention to Him in a small whisper. He could perceive even the small shifts of the Lord. He had to remain laser-focused on Christ to fully perceive what God was saying in that moment.
• Throughout the Bible, the cloud can symbolically be the Holy Spirit and represent a sign of covenant. Clouds carry life-giving water and the atmosphere must be in perfect condition for rain to appear. Clouds for both the Israelites and Elijah were powerful expressions of Christ. We can be rest assured that just like in ancient times, the Lord is absolutely leading us.
• The Bible says the cloud was “as small as a hand” not in the shape of a hand. So the point here is in the smallness. Oftentimes in our lives, Christ will guide us with something so small and simple that it might be easy to overlook. Instead, if we stay connected to the Lord, our spirits can perceive any kind of small change. This is exactly what happened to me when the tree flowers ignited into full bloom the other day. This is the same situation with the birds that sang in the rainstorm last week. Some birds could sense the shift in atmospheric pressure. So rejoice because your big moment is coming!
WORD OF WARNING/ENCOURAGEMENT DURING THIS SEASON:
• I keep seeing a wasp buzzing around that beautiful white tree that flourished overnight. This is a reminder that the enemy loves to lurk and the sting doesn’t always feel good -- but it’s smoke and mirrors. It will not harm or kill you. Anytime breakthrough is on the horizon, you can always know with certainty that the enemy will love to cause disruptions. These are just stings here and there, but in this season, it will not harm you if you stand firm in your faith and everything Jesus has taught you.
• The Lord just showed me “owls” which in the Bible figuratively symbolize tormenting grief, suffering, sorrow, loneliness, desolation, mourning, and judgment.
In Psalm 102:3–6, the owl symbolizes the loneliness of the psalmist’s tortured heart: “For my days vanish like smoke; my bones burn like glowing embers. My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food. In my distress I groan aloud and am reduced to skin and bones. I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.”
How do you combat sorrow and distress in this season? Fight back by glorifying Jesus even in the midst of turmoil and press in unlike ever before! Do not retreat whatsoever. Show gratitude and thankfulness despite the odds you face!
When trials come, it’s easy to fall back and run into hiding and fall into the trap of self-pity. This is the time TO STAND. Combat and resist any urge to go back to the secret place and isolation. You have to keep showing up and speaking even when rejection, sorrow and tiredness comes. You are right on the cusp of breakthrough, so press on unlike ever before! The Lord will renew your strength over and over if you stand firm and trust Him. He will pull you through!
You are about to embark on the most brilliant and awe-inspiring time of your life. Always keep Jesus and the love of people at the forefront even when success arrives. It’s never about us and our personal dreams, but always about our Father.
The Lord just reminded me of the words decreed in Amos 9:13-15:
Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.
Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
