2025 Prophetic Word: The Jesus Part—Becoming His Hands and Feet
Dear Kingdom Family,
During Thanksgiving, my 11-year-old nephew Joey was so excited to visit and show me his brand-new Bible. His eyes lit up as he flipped through its pages, fascinated to hold a hard copy of God's Word for the first time. As we read together, he kept asking, “When do we get to Jesus? Where’s the Jesus part?” I gently explained how the Old Testament sets the stage for the New Testament and for Jesus, but his words lingered in my heart.
I can’t stop thinking about Joey’s excitement because it feels deeply prophetic as we step into a new year. Even as a child, he understands that Christ is the most riveting part of the story.
God is encouraging us to ask the same questions: When do we get to Jesus? Where’s the Jesus part in my day? My prayer is that as we enter 2025, we begin asking ourselves these same questions.
My deepest hope is that each of us experiences a personal revival—a stirring in our hearts that awakens a childlike hunger to seek our sweet and precious Savior with unwavering devotion. It’s time to rise as God’s sons and daughters, stepping boldly into our roles as His hands and feet, bringing our Father’s love and truth to a world in desperate need. We must remember that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Rev. 19:10). Jesus is our Savior, Redeemer, Lord, King, and Shepherd. True prophecy is about making Him known and drawing others into the hope and life that only He can provide.
Each year, the Lord gives me a phrase or a word for the new year, something to guide and anchor our hearts as we walk into the future. I've been waiting, both patiently and with great anticipation, for the word He would reveal for 2025—and now it’s clear.
The word is this: Jesus.
No qualifiers, no embellishments, no distractions. King Jesus is the focus, the center, the beginning, and the end. In a world pulling us in every direction, the Lord is calling us to return to the simplicity and power of His name.
This isn’t just a word to meditate on—it’s a charge, a call to live every moment with Jesus at the forefront. To ask daily, “Where is the Jesus part in my life?” It’s a call to align every choice, every goal, and every step with His heart. As we move into 2025, it’s not about doing more; it’s about abiding more. It’s about letting the name of Jesus transform everything we touch and stepping boldly into a year that is fully surrendered to Him. Let us return to our King with hearts ablaze, ready to see His glory revealed in and through us!
A BIBLE BOOM: THIS IS JUST THE START
In 2024, the Holy Spirit has been moving powerfully! As many of you may have seen in recent reports, Bible sales in the United States have catapulted—capturing the attention of even the mainstream media! This is important because it’s tangible evidence that God is on the move and we are stepping into a time of “greater things” just like Jesus said. According to Circana Bookscan, Bible sales are up 22% compared to last year, even as overall book sales remained flat during the same period.
The Wall Street Journal reported that this surge is driven by first-time buyers, with young men and Gen Z leading the charge. Their renewed interest in the Word of God signals a powerful shift—one that can lead to stronger families, healthier communities, and a new generation of leaders rooted in biblical truth.
While analysts point to the state of the world or economic hardships for the growth, they miss the most crucial factor: the Holy Spirit.
We are living in a time reminiscent of Acts 2, where the Spirit of God is pouring out, awakening hearts, and calling His people to step into their divine purpose.
This isn’t just a moment to celebrate; it’s a call to action.
As I reflect on my nephew’s question, “When do we get to Jesus? Where’s the Jesus part?” I sense the Lord saying that this is not just the question of a curious child—it’s a cry from the hearts of millions across the globe. It’s the cry of creation itself, longing for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:19).
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord says:
"2025 will be a year of great unveiling. My Word is being sought after as never before, and I am stirring up a hunger for My presence. People are crying out, ‘Where is the Jesus part?’ and I will answer them. I am raising up My people to carry My presence into the earth in ways that cannot be ignored. Just as My disciples in Acts 2 were empowered to speak My truth in many tongues, I am empowering My Church to speak My truth across nations, generations, and platforms.
This is a year where the ‘hidden ones’ will be revealed. Those who have been prepared in the secret place will step forward, not with their own agendas but with My heart. They will walk in humility and power, and they will answer the cry, ‘Where is Jesus?’ with their lives, their words, and their actions.
2025 will be a year where My people will step out of the shadows of complacency and into the light of Kingdom responsibility. No longer will they ask, ‘When will Jesus come?’ for they will know that I AM already here, moving in their midst. My Spirit will stir boldness, and I will equip My Church to move in unity like never before. This will be a year where the Body of Christ truly becomes My hands and feet in the earth.
To My sons and daughters, I say: Arise and shine, for your light has come, and My glory rises upon you (Isaiah 60:1). The world is looking for answers, and I have chosen you to show them the way. Do not fear rejection, for I will go before you. Do not shrink back, for I have placed My Spirit within you. This is the year to use what I’ve given you, to bring hope to the hopeless, and to speak life into the dead places."
5 WAYS THE HOLY SPIRIT IS MOVING IN 2025
You are an essential part of the body of Christ, uniquely gifted by God to fulfill a specific purpose (1 Cor. 12:12-27). Yet, many of us often wrestle with the question, “I want to do more, but I don’t know my purpose.”
When we reflect on Jesus’ instructions to His disciples in Acts 1:8, He told them to begin in Jerusalem—a place that represented their immediate surroundings and their own community.
From there, we advance to "Judea," which represents stepping outside of our home base to minister to a larger audience. It’s about reaching beyond the comfort of our immediate circles to impact a broader community, while still engaging with those who may share similar values or cultural connections.
In 2025, many of you will find yourselves in this spot—called to expand your influence and share the love of Christ with those just beyond your current reach. It’s a season of growth and trust, as God equips you to step into new territories with boldness and purpose.
As we move into 2025, here are five practical things we can expect to see unfold in the Body of Christ:
1. A Shift in Leadership
The Spirit is raising up new leaders in unexpected places—men and women who have been hidden in preparation. This aligns with Isaiah 43:19, where God declares, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” These leaders are not confined to pulpits but are emerging in industries, communities, and online spaces, carrying the light of Christ.
Practical Impact:
You'll see faith-filled entrepreneurs launching businesses with Kingdom principles.
People will understand that we are called to be marketplace missionaries, living out our faith in everyday settings. Whether in offices, classrooms, hospitals, homes, or even retirement communities, God is equipping His people to carry His love, hope, and truth into every corner of society.
Faith-based small groups, community gatherings, and collaborative efforts will flourish as people prioritize relationships over routines.
2. A Revival of Creativity and Innovation
The Lord is releasing fresh creativity in His people, calling us to use our talents to reflect His glory. Think of Exodus 31, where Bezalel was filled with the Spirit of God to craft the Tabernacle. In the same way, artists, writers, musicians, and innovators are being anointed to create works that draw people to Jesus.
Practical Impact:
Kingdom-minded films, music, and books will saturate the mainstream, sparking curiosity about the Gospel.
Social media platforms will see a rise in content that points people to Jesus.
Start-up founders will be infused with the wisdom of God to create businesses that transform industries and communities. Their ventures will not only drive economic growth but also serve as platforms to share the Gospel and meet real-world needs. These founders will carry solutions inspired by the Holy Spirit.
3. An Increase in Faith and Boldness
As believers grow in their understanding of the Word, their faith will rise. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” We will see a generation unashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16), stepping out in boldness to share their faith.
Practical Impact:
Prayer gatherings, small groups, and street evangelism will become more common again, with miraculous testimonies of healing and salvation.
Home churches will overflow as more people hunger for truth and community in closer groups. They will serve others with passion and purpose.
4. God Is Using Speech in a Unique Way
In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit filled the disciples, enabling them to speak in various languages so that every listener could understand the message of Christ. Today, the Spirit is moving in a similar way, but through a modern medium—social media. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are becoming digital pulpits, where people from all nations can connect and hear the message of hope in their own "language."
What’s truly astounding is that God cannot be confined to any box. He is taking platforms once dominated by distraction and self-promotion and transforming them into tools for Kingdom advancement. Just as the disciples were mocked for speaking in tongues (Acts 2:13), believers who boldly step out in obedience online will inevitably face criticism. Yet, this is a powerful indicator of impact—truth has always had a way of stirring hearts and ruffling feathers. In this digital age, the Word is spreading faster and further than ever before, reaching places and people once thought unreachable.
Practical Impact:
Testimonies, prophetic words, and teachings are reaching nations that were once closed off to the Gospel.
God is raising up influencers and content creators who are unashamed to glorify Him, creating a ripple effect that spans continents.
5. The Harvest Is Coming
The surge in Bible sales and the global hunger for truth point to one thing: the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37). The Spirit is calling His people to prepare for a wave of souls turning to Jesus. This isn’t just a revival within the Church; it’s an awakening that will draw in prodigals, first-time seekers, and even those who once opposed the faith.
This season requires you to be very intentional. It’s not just about planting seeds but about nurturing relationships and guiding others into the fullness of Christ. The Lord is equipping His people to disciple and walk alongside new believers.
Practical Impact:
Churches will need to expand small group ministries and mentorship programs to meet the needs of new believers.
Believers will be challenged to deepen their own walk with God to serve as anchors for those seeking stability in Christ.
There will also be a harvest of restoration for those who walk with Jesus. Individuals burdened by past wounds will step into freedom and wholeness, empowered to live out their God-given purposes.
A WORD OF WARNING:
REMOVING BARRIERS TO GOD’S PROMISES
As we look ahead to 2025, the Lord is giving us a profound opportunity to step into His plans and purposes. However, with great opportunity comes the need for discernment and obedience. There is a warning in this season: Don’t allow the things of the past to linger in the new territory God is leading you into.
In Numbers 33:55, Moses warns the Israelites:
"But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live."
This was not just a physical warning but a spiritual principle. When the Israelites failed to fully obey God’s command to drive out the inhabitants, they opened the door for idolatry, compromise, and conflict. In the same way, as we step into the promises of 2025, we must examine our hearts and remove anything that could become a thorn or stumbling block in our journey—old habits, toxic relationships, unrepented sin, or even the lingering effects of past pain.
Repentance means turning away from the wrong things we’ve done and turning back to God. It’s not just feeling bad about our mistakes—it’s choosing to ask God for forgiveness and letting Him help us change. Many people have gone back to people and things that God has already delivered them from, forgetting that He set them free for a reason. Repentance is about breaking those cycles, trusting God’s plan, and moving forward into the freedom He has for you.
As we go into 2025, remember that God loves you and is always ready to forgive when you come to Him with an open heart. Repentance is the first step to growing closer to Him and living in the freedom He designed for you.
The Lord is saying:
"I am bringing you into a spacious place, but it is your responsibility to prepare the ground. Clear out the old so that I can establish the new. Do not tolerate what I have told you to remove, for it will hinder your ability to walk in the fullness of My promises."
Prophetic Word:
"2025 will be a year of momentum, but it requires preparation. Do not step into this new season with unresolved baggage. Clear out the old and make room for My Spirit to move freely. I will do great miracles among My people, but they must create an atmosphere of faith, not unbelief. This is not the time to shrink back or to hold on to what I’ve told you to release. I am calling you to deeper faith, to greater obedience, and to a life that is fully surrendered. The choice is yours—will you drive out the thorns and make room for My presence, or will you allow them to remain and hinder what I long to do?”
A CALL TO ACTION
In 2025, let us carry the name of Jesus boldly. Let us respond to the cry of the world by being the ones who proclaim, “Jesus is here! He is in us, and He is for you.” Whether through acts of kindness, bold declarations of faith, or creating spaces where the lost can encounter Him, we are the answer to the question.
This is not a year to hold back. This is the year to rise, step out, and say, “Jesus, use me.” He is ready to pour His Spirit into every willing vessel. Let’s answer the call together!
This surge in Bible sales is just the beginning of what the Lord is doing. As my nephew's question reminds us, the world is searching for Jesus. As God’s sons and daughters, what a privilege it is to teach them about our Savior!
We can’t sit on the sidelines. We are the hands and feet of Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16), and every gift, no matter how small it seems, plays a role in building the Kingdom. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that “we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
As we step into 2025:
Ask yourself, “Where’s the Jesus part in my day? Am I passionately and wholeheartedly searching for Him above all else?”
Seek the Holy Spirit, who is breathing new life into His Church and revealing gifts you didn’t even know you had.
Step out boldly, knowing that God has already gone before you.
This is an Acts 2 moment. The Spirit is calling us to rise, to bring forth the gifts and talents entrusted to us, and to fulfill our roles as the body of Christ. The world is crying out for Jesus, and we have the answer.
Let 2025 be the year we declare, “Here I am, Lord. Send me” (Isaiah 6:8)!
