Prophetic Word: A Season of Rest

“The righteous will flourish like palm trees…”

Psalm 92:12

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is calling His people to a timely 'reset' as we approach the second part of this year. This reset will require you to SLOW DOWN, be intentional, and put in effort to get back on track. Remember: there is power in simplicity. It’s extremely important to clear away the clutter that might be plaguing your mind and spirit to make room for Jesus.

Use this time to rejuvenate and reset with Father God because He will restore you for the journey ahead.

SPIRITUAL RESET:

  • A period of renewal, restoration, new beginnings, and transformation in our relationship with Christ and our life circumstances.

  • To realign or adjust something to restore it to an optimal state.

  • Return to an original or default condition to correct an error, improve functionality, or start anew.

IT’S TIME TO GET BACK TO THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST

God says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).

When the Lord spoke these words to Jeremiah, His people were facing immense stress and trials, immersed in turmoil and uncertainty. Many of us experience similar distress in our own lives. Oftentimes we need direction and the Lord allows us to call Him because He promises to answer.

Calling on the Lord isn't merely about shouting or saying His name; it's about surrendering to His sovereignty and placing our complete trust and confidence in Him. When we call, we connect. We take action. Calling on the Lord takes humility. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble” (James 4:6); in our seeking we release the desire to control our lives and ask for God’s guidance instead. The result is grace and favor.

The Lord promises to unveil divine mysteries through this act of seeking, providing the spiritual insight we need for the season ahead.

Here’s what the Holy Spirit placed on my heart for you to remember: It’s important to have unwavering trust in God’s greater plan this season, even when you don’t have all the answers.

The Lord desires to restore your spiritual insight as you spend time in the secret place with Him. He wants to reset and renew your heart to understand Him in new and extraordinary ways. The enemy has been tirelessly working to distract God's people, causing weariness and brokenness.

Some of you may even be experiencing faith fatigue. The more you call on Father God — the more He answers.

To realign with King Jesus, it’s essential to step away from the crowds and find rest in His presence.

Not everyone will understand your decisions or choices, but when your plans are guided by the Holy Spirit, there will be an inner assurance prompting you to do what God says.

Seeking the Lord’s blessing is far more important than seeking man’s validation.

GOD WILL GIVE YOU SUCCESS

The Lord says He’s so proud of the incredible work you have done even when it’s hard to keep going. He does not want you to be worried about anything so He’s going to separate some of you in this season to get back in alignment with Him. There will be a divine reset that your soul craves.

One scheme of the enemy is to send mockers to disrupt the wonderful things happening in your life. Nehemiah faced this. Jesus did too. How did they respond? They pressed on and didn’t pay attention to the opposition.

They saw the opposition as an opportunity to lean on God, and the work continued.

Nehemiah, when rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, faced relentless ridicule and threats from Sanballat, Tobiah, and others. Instead of being discouraged, Nehemiah prayed and fortified his efforts, saying, "The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding" (Nehemiah 2:20).

Jesus, during His ministry, was often mocked and opposed by the Pharisees and others. He stayed focused on His mission, saying, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work" (John 4:34).

Jesus was also mocked and misunderstood by His own family and friends. They even thought He had lost His mind because of His teachings (Mark 3:21). Jesus is our example, and anyone who steps out for the Kingdom will face similar responses when answering the call.

Despite the mocking and disbelief from His family and hometown, Jesus remained focused on His mission and purpose. His response was not one of anger or retaliation but of continuing His work with steadfast determination and grace. He even used these moments to teach profound truths about faith and discipleship.

Nehemiah reacted similarly. His response to mockery and opposition was unwavering faith and perseverance. He, along with his co-partners, viewed challenges as opportunities to depend more on God and continue their divine work. Let us follow their example, keeping our eyes on the Lord and trusting Him to complete the good work He has begun in us.

WHAT JESUS TEACHES US

  1. Perseverance in Mission:
Jesus teaches us to stay committed to our God-given mission and purpose, regardless of opposition or misunderstanding from those close to us. He demonstrated that our identity and purpose come from God, not from the opinions of others.

  2. Grace and Compassion:
Jesus responded to mockery and disbelief with grace and compassion. He continued to teach, heal, and minister to others, showing love even to those who doubted Him.

  3. Dependence on God:
Jesus' example teaches us to rely on God for strength and validation. He found His affirmation in His relationship with the Father, not in human approval.

  4. Forgiveness and Patience:
Jesus exemplified forgiveness and patience, understanding that people often act out of ignorance or fear. He extended love and grace, even praying for those who crucified Him, saying, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34).

LOOKING AHEAD

Recently, I had a dream in which I stayed at two hotels, symbolizing a short period of transition. One hotel was the Comfort Inn, and in the dream, I had a strong sense that I had overstayed my time there and needed to hurry to my next destination.

Metaphorically, God is saying it’s time to move on from a place of comfort. The Lord does not want us to remain stagnant and spiritually weakened. Some of you are being called to a new land, and once you arrive, the Lord will reveal His purpose and reason.

For some, this pertains to business endeavors.

For others, God wants to help you get back on your feet and He will strengthen you in the days ahead.

In the dream, I also saw an airplane, a symbol of transportation across territories and spaces. We are called to elevate higher in the spirit at this time. Some of you are receiving a spiritual promotion that has to do with greater wisdom and knowledge when it comes to Kingdom realities.

PROPHETIC WORD:

We must not remain complacent; renewing our faith requires us to step forward boldly in this season, willing to follow Jesus even when others do not understand.

The Lord has given me Ezekiel 47:12 for you this week: “Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”

This is a season of divine renewal. God is making all things NEW. The leaves of your life—your actions, your words, your faith—are for the healing of the nations. God is using you to bring healing and restoration wherever you go.

Prepare to witness God’s compassion and mercy in your daily interactions. As you release the love of Jesus, others will taste and see the goodness of our Father. They will find nourishment and strength in the fruit of your life.

Beloved, embrace the promise of renewal.

Stand by the river, drink deeply, and be refreshed in God’s love. His sanctuary is within you, and His Spirit is the river that flows from within. Let it flow freely, bringing life to every place He touches.

You are a carrier of God’s presence, and through you, Jesus is bringing forth new life and new beginnings to others. Embrace this time of rest as we reach the halfway point of this year. There is still great work ahead, and Father God will propel you forward.

Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty (Zechariah 4:6).
